Who We Are…

The ISHM Chapter of Hungary was formed in 1990, with the emergent Central and Eastern Europe countries. In 1995 NATO committed funds for a research project to be held in May 1995 in Budapest, Hungary, where the chapter took its active part. After 1997, ISHM transformed into IMAPS, and the rest is history…

The IMAPS-Hungary Chapter was reactivated in 2019 as part of the National Electronics Society of Hungary (NESH) with commitment from the Electronics Technology Department (ETT) at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). ETT provides a bridge between industry, education, and science, and is strogly motivated to be a part of the international community of IMAPS.

NESH is open to all engineers throughout Hungary, both for individual members as private persons and institutional members as legal entities. IMAPS-Hungary as the Microelectronics Division of NESH  is also open to the membership throughout Hungary. Read more
